Mensa IQ Test

During the last academic year 40 of our High Attaining Pupils’ sat the Mensa IQ Test. This is a Nationally recognised test that tests our pupils’ intelligence quotient, which means how well someone can use information and logic to answer questions. The test from Mensa is available to anyone over the age of 10 and students as well as adults would sit the same test.

During the last academic year, 8 of our pupils’ who took the test (20%) achieved a score of 148 or over, which meant that their score was high enough for them to gain a place into Mensa, the High IQ Society. A further 12 of our pupils (30%) achieved a 131-145, which put their scores in the top 10% and just missed out on a place in Mensa.
