Mrs. Josette Arnold & Mrs. Faye Bond

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Greetings from Abraham Moss Community! As we approach the middle of another term, I am delighted to share with you some of the remarkable achievements and exciting events that have taken place within our school community.

First and foremost, we would like to congratulate our Year 11 football team, who have secured a well-deserved spot in the semi-finals of the Greater Manchester Plate. Their impressive winning streak and unwavering determination have been truly inspiring.

Furthermore, I am thrilled to announce that our Year 5 and 6 students have qualified for the Dynamos Cricket Competition. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and we eagerly anticipate their outstanding performances in the upcoming matches.

In addition to these sporting triumphs, we recently celebrated Earth Day, a global event that raises awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. Our students actively participated in various eco-friendly activities, demonstrating their commitment to protecting our planet for future generations.

The primary parents’ evening and year 7 parents evening was a resounding success, providing an invaluable opportunity for parents and teachers to collaborate and discuss the progress and well-being of our young learners. We appreciate the active involvement of our parent community in supporting their children’s educational journey.

Lastly, our Year 10 students embarked on their work experience placements this week, gaining valuable insights into the professional world and developing essential skills for their future endeavours. We are confident that this experience will shape their career aspirations and equip them with the necessary tools for success.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to fostering an environment that nurtures academic excellence, personal growth, and a sense of community. Together, we can continue to create a positive and enriching experience for our students.

We wish you a peaceful and pleasant weekend,

Mrs J Arnold & Mrs F Bond
