Dear Parent/Carer We hope you enjoyed the Half Term break.  We certainly came back “Ready to Learn” and have made an excellent start to the second half of the spring term.  We took visitors round the school and dropped into classrooms this week.   Their feedback was very positive and they were particularly impressed with our pupils’ articulate explanations of the learning objectives or the sharing of the “idiom of the week”. On Wednesday, 12 pupils took part in a two-day visit to the University of Oxford, where they explored the world-renowned university and heard first-hand from its students and professors. The trip was part of the school’s Higher Achievers programme, which is designed to support pupils to prepare for applying to the most competitive universities both in the UK and abroad, whilst raising aspirations about what is possible for their future education. This week, KS2 Girls Football Team had an amazing tournament at the Co-Op North, they won four out of their six matches and showed first class sportsmanship on the field and represented the school brilliantly.  We will soon be sending out information regarding rewards for brilliant punctuality and attendance in the primary.
