Headteacher Message
Mrs. Josette Arnold & Mrs. Faye Bond
Dear Parents/Carers We hope this newsletter finds you well. We wanted to update you on a few important matters happening at our school. You may have noticed the significant construction work taking place around the school. We would like to clarify that this is not a school project, but rather work being done by the council. We understand the disruption this may cause and appreciate your patience as we hope the work will be completed in the coming weeks. On a brighter note, we are excited to share some fantastic news about our Year 6 pupils! They recently competed in their first after-school cross-country event and did an incredible job. Many of our boys and girls finished in the top 15 out of 50 competitors—a remarkable achievement! Today, we received a visit from the Manchester Senior Schools Quality Assurance Officer who dropped into lessons to look at learning in action. It was so pleasing our “infectious joy” for learning in action with our pupils giving very in-depth information about their learning. Thank you to all our parents who attended our “Year 10 Welcome Evening”. Once again, with received very positive feedback and invaluable suggestions from you, parents and carers, on how to make the evening even more informative. Lastly, a gentle reminder about the importance of punctuality. Arriving on time sets a positive tone for the day and pupils that students don't miss any valuable learning time. Thank you for your continued support. Together, we are making Abraham Moss a fantastic place for our pupils to thrive. We hope you have a lovely weekend, Mrs J. Arnold and Mrs F. Bond
